Holodomor (hol-o-do-mor) Originates from the Ukrainian words 'Голод' (holod) and 'Мор' (mor), which mean hunger and plague, respectively. The term was originated directly from the expression 'мортити голодом' (moryty holodom), which means "to inflict death by hunger."

Holodomor clamed more lives than were lost on every battlefield combined in World War 1.

This film aims to bring awareness to “HOLODOMOR: Ukraine’s Genocide” to the general public. Through this film we plan reach out to the world and tell this factual story in remembrance of the 7-10 million lives that were lost and in turn show how human welfare was impacted forever. In addition, we will share the political, economic, and social side of this historic Genocide and promote human peace and welfare. It will also serve as an educational platform so that history does not repeat itself.

This film will positively impact the lives of the victims, their families, and the audience because it will help to serve those that did not have a voice, to finally be heard.

The public has a right to know and needs to be educated about this tragedy. Millions of people died and millions of peoples’ lives were affected by this Genocide. This documentary film has the potential to reach a worldwide audience as it provides knowledge about a subject that is relatively unknown and has been suppressed for the past 7 decades.
